Determining Ergonomic Appraisal Factors Affecting the Learning Motivation and Academic Performance of Students during Online Classes

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, students face intolerable mental and physical discomfort when taking online classes, directly impacting their learning motivation academic performance. Related studies indicated that had negative sentiments regarding learning. This may be an alarming notion for students, particularly ability participation in school. To overcome this nuisance, primary objective of study was to examine factors affecting students’ performance during using a novel framework ergonomic appraisal. A total 316 respondents answered questionnaire purposive sampling approach through social media platforms. Ergonomic-based indicators physical, cognitive, macro-ergonomics were analyzed simultaneously partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed design workstation, use LMS, access technology, teaching delivery, temperature level, visual style found significantly influence motivation, which then impacts student’s Thus, it is essential those who are facilitating distance keep mind could motivate student. As result, paper becomes avenue help appropriately plan course program ensure its viability productively engage since becoming increasingly necessary.
